How VAR Payout works in practice
You place a qualifying bet — for example, a correct score, a first goalscorer or a match result market — on an eligible fixture. The bet settles as a loser because of a goal or red card.
If VAR subsequently overturns that goal (ruling it offside) or rescinds that red card, and that reversal would have changed your bet from a loser to a winner, LiveScore Bet refunds your qualifying stake as a free bet.
The refund is processed as a free bet, not cash. Free bet terms, expiry, minimum odds and applicable markets are governed by LiveScore Bet's current VAR Payout terms. Confirm these in the LiveScore Bet Help Centre before placing the bet.
Which markets does VAR Payout cover?
VAR Payout at LiveScore Bet applies to selected pre-match football markets affected by a VAR-overturned goal or rescinded red card. Check the Help Centre for the current market eligibility list, as coverage can be updated seasonally.
Typically excluded: in-play bets placed after the VAR decision, bet builder legs, boosted odds selections, free bet stakes, and markets settled on the full-time score before any VAR intervention is recorded.
