What does Duo mean on Bet9ja? (and Plus)
On Bet9ja, Duo means your player bet also counts his substitute: if your player is replaced, the player who comes on for him can still win the bet for you. Plus is different: Shots on Target Plus also counts shots that hit the post or crossbar.
Our pick in Nigeria: LiveScore Bet
Sub Payout: if your player is subbed off, the bet moves to his replacement, like Duo. Plus a 100% deposit match up to ₦100,000 for new customers. 18+, terms apply.
Duo: your player or his substitute
A Duo market covers the player you pick and the player who replaces him. If your player is substituted before the event happens, the substitute can still win the bet for you.
Bet9ja shows Duo on these markets: First Goalscorer Duo, Anytime Duo (anytime goalscorer), Next Goal Duo and Shots on Target Duo.
Plus: shots that hit the woodwork
Shots on Target Plus counts a shot that hits the post or crossbar as a shot on target. It is about the woodwork, not about substitutes.
So Shots on Target Duo and Shots on Target Plus are different bets: Duo adds the substitute, Plus adds the woodwork.
Example
You back a striker in Anytime Duo. He is substituted in the 60th minute without scoring, and the player who replaced him scores in the 80th minute. With Duo your bet wins; on the normal Anytime Goalscorer market it would lose.
Same idea at other bookmakers in Nigeria
Other bookmakers call this protection Sub Payout, Super Sub, Sure Sub or Sub On Play On. LiveScore Bet's version in Nigeria is Sub Payout: on marked player markets, the bet moves to the replacement if your player is substituted.
